Authorities have identified the Saddle Brook police officer who was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Route 80 Sunday morning, Sept. 20. Saddle Brook Police Chief John Zotollo Jr. identified the officer as Nicholas Genuario, who was sworn into the department in 2024.
