A 20-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Dutchess County, authorities announced.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, in the town of Hyde Park, the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on Tuesday, May 5.
Authorities said that Austin Caston, 20, of Hyde Park, was driving a 2009 Pontiac G6 southbound on North Quaker Lane near Forest Drive when he lost control of the vehicle. The car then left the roadway and struck a tree.

Troopers in Somers stopped a vehicle traveling east in the town of Southeast around 2:49 a.m. for a traffic violation, police said. While speaking with the driver, identified as 21-year-old Jayden A. A 19-year-old man has died days after suffering critical injuries in a motorcycle crash in Dutchess County, authorities confirmed.
Kayden Kabashi, 19, of Beekman, died on Friday, May 1, following a crash in Pawling on Monday, April 27, the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office confirmed on Monday, May 4.
The crash happened around 8:15 a.m., when Kabashi was riding a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound on Route 55 when it collided with a 2003 Honda SUV at the intersection with Route 292, the Sheriff's Office said.
