A 32-year-old man was stabbed to death during an altercation in New York, and a 20-year-old man has been charged with murder, police announced early Tuesday morning, July 21.
The victim, identified as Timothy Stark, who was undomiciled, was stabbed in the back during a confrontation on Express Drive South at Route 112 in Medford at approximately 3:30 p.m. Monday, July 20, Suffolk County Police said. He was taken to NYU Langone Hospital–Suffolk in Patchogue, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

Kevin Phillips, 45, of Schenectady, was riding his motorcycle southbound through Guilderland on the New York State Thruway on Thursday, July 16, when he was stopped for a traffic violation, New York State Police said.
