Five people were injured in a crash on the Garden State Parkway early Saturday morning, May 2, authorities said.
Troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash at approximately 1:30 a.m. on the northbound side near milepost 137.1 in Clark, Charles Marchan, a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police said.
A Honda passenger car driven by a 21-year-old Howell resident was traveling north when it struck a left concrete barrier, crossed the center lanes, struck a right metal guardrail, and overturned, Marchan said.

A 28-year-old Salem County woman was killed in a crash on Route 647 on Sunday, April 5, authorities said.
At 3:57 p.m., troopers responded to County Route 647 south in Quinton after a Chevrolet passenger vehicle, driven by Sunshine Jones, crossed the centerline and collided with the side of a Toyota passenger vehicle, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. After the initial impact, the Chevrolet and the Ford collided, Postorino said.
