Wanted Woman Used Stolen Credit Card To Buy Laptop At Long Island Apple Store, Police Say Police investigators are attempting to locate a woman who allegedly used a stolen credit card to try to purchase an Apple laptop. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives released photos of a woman who allegedly attempted to purchase a laptop from the Apple Store in the Smith Haven Mall at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. Anyone who recognizes the woman, or who has information regarding the incident has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or texting “SCPD” with the message to 274637.

The theft took place sometime on April 23 but the store notified the Greenwich Police Department on the weekend.  According to a police report items stolen include the watch, a light pad block musical device and an iPhone, all worth more than $1,500.
