Attempted Robbery: Long Island Teen Punches Victim In Face, Police Say
A Long Island teen was arrested after allegedly punching a victim in the face and demanding all of the person's money.
The incident took place in Levittown around 5:40 p.m., Tuesday, March 28 on Drake Lane.
According to Nassau County Police detectives, Ryan Romano, age 18, of Levittown, saw another teen, also 18, drive past his home and began to follow him.
The victim drove to a friend’s home on Drake Lane in Levittown. When he arrived, Romano ran over to the victim's driver's side window and yelled at him to hand over all of his money, police said.

A gunman who opened fire on two men inside a Long Island pool hall was upset after losing multiple games and was set on stealing his money back, prosecutors said.
Alexander Castillo, age 26, of the Bronx, was formally indicted on attempted murder and other charges in Suffolk County Court on Wednesday, March 15, stemming from the attack that occurred in Port Jefferson in December 2022.
Castillo had been playing pool for hours at a pool hall on Main Street on Dec. 28, 2022, and became angry as his financial losses mounted, according to prosecutors.

Bank Robbery Spree: Suspect Nabbed After String Of Incidents In Nassau County
A suspect has been apprehended after a string of bank robberies and attempted robberies on Long Island that started in early January.
At about 1:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, the suspect, identified as Willian Andrade Jordan, age 31, entered the Bank of America in Baldwin, at 2300 Grand Ave., approached a teller, passed a note threatening a gun and a knife and demanded three thousand dollars, Nassau County Police said.
The 29-year-old female victim walked away from her station and Jordan fled the scene on foot without receiving any proceeds, according to police. No injuries were reported. …

An alleged suspect was shot and killed while struggling with an employee, who was also shot, during an attempted robbery at a Connecticut store.
The incident took place in East Hartford around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2 at the Humble & Paid Company at 1285 Main St.
