EHT Woman Killed In Crash On Black Horse Pike: Police
A 49-year-old Egg Harbor Township woman was killed after she was struck by a vehicle on the Black Horse Pike on Sunday, Nov. 9, authorities said.
At 6:05 p.m., officers responded to the Black Horse Pike in West Atlantic City after a 1997 Honda Odyssey traveling westbound struck a pedestrian, Nazma Khatun, in the roadway, Egg Harbor Township police said.
Khatun was transported to AtlantiCare Medical Center where she was pronounced dead, police said.
The driver, a 63-year-old Pleasantville resident remained on scene, polcie said.
The crash remains under investigation, police said.

Connecticut State police shut down part of I-395 northbound after a violent rollover crash that left one person hurt and another under arrest.
Dylan McCaughey, 22, of Putnam, was identified as the driver in the Wednesday, Oct. 1, crash just before 9 p.m., authorities said.
Troopers said his car veered off the southbound side of the highway, went over an embankment, flipped over a guardrail, and landed on its roof in the northbound lane near Exit 50. The crash forced police to close a portion of the interstate as crews worked the scene.

Man Killed After Disabled Car Smashed By Speeding Driver On I-395 In Alexandria: State Police
A Virginia man was killed when his disabled car was slammed by a speeding driver on I-395, state police said.
Virginia State Police said the crash happened around 2:20 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, in the southbound lanes of the interstate in Alexandria, near the three-mile marker.
According to investigators, a 2008 Toyota Corolla crashed and became disabled in the roadway.
Moments later, police said, a 2021 Hyundai Venue traveling southbound at a high rate of speed struck the Corolla.
