Lord & Taylor will shutter two dozen locations nationwide including three in New Jersey.
After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, the nation’s oldest department store announced it will also be closing seven stores in New York, three in Connecticut, two in Massachusetts, two in Illinois and two in Maryland, CNBC reports.
One store each in Florida, Michigan, New Hampshire, Virginia and Pennsylvania will also close.

Salons, Gyms, Offices Could Open In 'Matter Of Weeks,' Murphy Says
New Jersey residents could be weeks away from haircuts, gym workouts and returning work, Gov. Phil Murphy said.
If the trends continue in the right direction -- a decrease in new coronavirus cases, hospitalizations and deaths -- lockdowns on gyms, barbershops, salons and other indoor facilities could be lifted, Murphy said in an interview with CNBC's "Squawk Box."
“I don’t have a date," he said, "but I would hope it is a matter of weeks."
Murphy on Friday gave the OK for groups of 25 people to gather outside. Indoor gatherings remain limited to a maximum of 10 people.

Wall Street giant Morgan Stanley will be cutting hundreds of jobs due to an “uncertain global economic outlook,” according to a new report.
Morgan Stanley will be cutting approximately 1,500 jobs - roughly 2 percent of its workforce - impacting employees in technology, operations, sales trading, and research. The New York-based bank currently employees more than 60,000 people.
