Man Gunned Down Outside Waterbury Bodega Just Days Before 30th Birthday
A 29-year-old man has been identified as the person shot and killed outside a neighborhood bodega in Waterbury earlier this week. He would have turned 30 on Friday.
Frank Garay, of Hartford, was shot around 7:45 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 15, on Charles Street, Waterbury police said.
Police are still searching for the shooter.
Tributes poured onto social media as news of Garay's death spread.

On Monday, Aug. 25, Suffolk County Police identified the victims as Walter “Butch” Jakubowski, 83, and his wife, Margaret Jakubowski, 75, both of Ronkonkoma.
