Paterson police arrested a quartet of dealers and nearly a dozen buyers, most from out of town, while seizing hundreds of heroin folds, crack and an illegal handgun, authorities said.
A street operation by the Narcotics Division on Summer Street between Broadway and Hamilton Avenue ended with Tuesday’s raid on a local home, Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said.

Brick Police Department's Street Crimes Unit Detectives made a warranted “knock and announce” search at the Maple Leaf Park Complex, on Sawmill Road about 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Patrol Officer Victoria Finelli.

A Connecticut man has been sentenced to 70 months in prison for distributing narcotics.
Hartford County resident McClendon Jones, age 40, of Bloomfield, was sentenced on Friday, Jan. 8, by U.S. District Judge Kari A. Dooley to the prison time, followed by four years of supervised release, said U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut John H. Durham.

Merchants and residents complained and Paterson police responded, swooping in and scooping up a convicted drug dealer who they said was carrying 924 heroin folds, 152 vials of crack and 93 vials of Ecstasy.
Ex-con Davon Forbes, 38, was slinging in front of Emily’s Mini Market on Broadway around 10 in the morning when detectives from the department’s Narcotics Division nabbed him, Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said.
