California Man Stole $65K In Cargo By Not Completing Delivery: Lakewood PD
A 24-year-old Fresno, California man is charged after he stole $65,000 in merchandise that he never delivered to Lakewood, authorities announced Wednesday, Feb. 18.
On Wednesday, Feb. 4, officers responded to a report commercial shipment that was scheduled for delivery to Lakewood but never arrived, Lakewood police said. The victim said the merchandise had been picked up out of state by a contracted driver and failed to reach its destination, police said.
An investigation determined Kamal Singh, the man assigned to transport the shipment, did not complete, police said.
