Teen Involved In Wilton Hit-Run Crash Reversed, Hit Driver On Purpose, Police Say
An area teen who allegedly hit the back of a vehicle is said to have backed-up and struck the driver when he got out of his vehicle to confront him.
The incident took place in Fairfield County around 5:52 p.m., Saturday, May 16 on Drum Hill Road in Wilton, said Wilton Police Lt. Robert Kluk.
According to Kluk, the driver of a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling north on Drum Hill Road when the teen, driving a 2010 Acura RDX at a high rate of speed, lightly struck the rear of the Tahoe.

Two people have been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run in June 2019 that left a Bridgeport firefighter seriously injured.
Adrian Cauthen, 33, and Frances Marino, 33, both of Bridgeport, were arrested Thursday, Jan. 23, were charged in connection with hitting the off-duty fireman who was crossing Stratford Avenue when he was hit and left in the roadway, said Bridgeport Police Capt. Kevin Gilleran.
According to Gilleran, Erique McCalla, 46, was crossing Stratford Avenue around 11:18 p.m., June 28, 2019, when he was struck by a vehicle.

A man who drove into a utility pole in Greenwich was reportedly driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Officers from the Greenwich Police Department were dispatched to Weaver Street shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, where there was a report of a driver who had struck a utility pole in the area.
According to police, upon arrival, the vehicle was unoccupied, and they found the driver, Greenwich resident Mariusz Mosiej, 38, walking alone West Putnam Avenue. After being approached, Mosiej admitted to being involved in the one-car crash.

A man who left the scene of an accident in Greenwich was located by a police K-9 who tracked his scent.
Aaron Guerrero, 38, of Port Chester, was arrested around 8 p.m., on Sunday, Nov. 17, after Greenwich Police responded to a report of a vehicle striking a utility police, said the Greenwich Police.
When officers arrived on the scene of the crash, they found the vehicle on the west side of North Street against the damaged pole, but no driver was in sight.
