Connecticut State Police, along with multiple police agencies, seized numerous handguns and assault rifles illegally sold as part of an investigation into gun trafficking.
According to police, officers served warrants on Tuesday, March 22, in New Haven County in Waterbury and Wolcott, and Fairfield County in Shelton.

A 20-year-old driver pulled over in a routine traffic stop was arrested and charged for having multiple firearms and tools to make Privately Made Firearms (PMFs), or "ghost guns," police in Montgomery County said.
Lawrence Harrison was pulled over at Henderson Corner Road and Seneca Crossing Drive on Wednesday, Feb. 23 around 7 p.m., authorities said.

A 34-year-old Long Island man was charged after police said a search warrant uncovered multiple loaded "ghost guns" in his home.
Samuel Schindler, of Central Islip, was arrested on Saturday, Feb. 5, after a search warrant was executed at his home on Tamarack Street, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
Police searched the residence and found two loaded handguns, a 9mm and a 40 caliber, authorities said.
