Yorktown Student-Athletes Sign Letters Of Intent
Six Yorktown High School student-athletes made their college commitments official on Tuesday by signing letters of intent to play sports at their chosen colleges, bringing the total number of varsity athletes from YHS who will play on Division I and Division II teams in 2018-19 to 18. Scott A. Milligan of Totowa died Monday, March 26. He was 40 years old. Scott worked for Premier Properties, The Damiano Group in Little Falls as a Real Estate agent for 13 years. A Westchester gym teacher has filed a lawsuit after being struck in the head by an errant golf club thrown by a man having a rough day on the links at Dunwoodie Golf Course in Yonkers, according to a New York Post report. Mary Touhey, 55, a gym teacher in Yonkers is reportedly suing 33-year-old Manhattan resident Daniel Schapiro after she allegedly suffered a broken nose last September when the latter threw a golf club in anger following a bad shot.
