A Virginia man who crossed over state lines to burglarize at least two Maryland homes in the middle of the day has been apprehended, authorities announced. Manassas native Gregory Jerome Stamps, 65, is facing charges in Montgomery County after being flagged by a Bethesda homeowner who caught him on camera red-handed breaking into an area home. An 18-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged after breaking into a home in Union Township on Wednesday, Sept. 18, authorities said. At 6:20 a.m., officers responded to a home on Andrew Street Park who said his home was being broken into, Union Township Police said. Peeping Tom, 37, Films Inside Stranger's Home In Dumont, Police Say
A 37-year-old Dumont man was lodged in the Bergen County Jail on accusations he approached someone's front door and began filming the inside of their home, authorities said. Christian Ferrer was identified as the suspect who went up to the door of a stranger's home and used a cell phone to film inside the home, Dumont Police Detective Lt. Luke Totten said. Ferrer was charged with criminal trespass and stalking. He was lodged in the Bergen County Jail.

Three men attempted to burglarize a Lower Moreland residence in broad daylight last month, township police said in a release on Wednesday, July 31.
