A Long Island man has been convicted of murder for beating another man so badly during a robbery behind a Chuck E. Cheese that the victim died a year later, authorities said Thursday, April 9.
Dennis Ray, also known as “Midnight,” was convicted Tuesday, April 7 in the death of Jose Osma, the Nassau County District Attorney’s office said.

Jonathan Martinez, 41, was arrested after officers responded to Cocalico Creek Road in Stevens at approximately 1:54 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, according to East Cocalico Township Police.

Shaquanna Gibbs, 26, of Roosevelt, was behind the wheel of a white Honda Accord when she exited a parking spot in the Roosevelt Field Mall garage and hit an officer’s patrol vehicle around 6:26 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, detectives said.

An argument between two friends erupted into violence, leaving one hospitalized after a stabbing in North Amityville on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 6:25 a.m., Suffolk County Police announced.
Joshua Deluna, 32, of North Amityville, got into an altercation with a 43-year-old Copiague man in front of a home, police said.
