A weekend shooting in Southern Maryland that left three people wounded has led to the arrest of two brothers now facing attempted murder charges, according to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office.
Cameron David Louis Curtis, 22, of Valley Lee, and Peyton James Robert Curtis, 20, of Callaway, were taken into custody on Tuesday, May 6, in connection with a shooting that was reported early Saturday morning in the area of Chancellors Run Road and Pegg Road in Great Mills, authorities said.

A man was killed and a woman seriously injured in a crash involving five vehicles on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said.
The crash happened at 4:46 a.m. Saturday, April 26, on the inner roadway southbound at milepost 70.1 in Cranbury Township, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said.
A Ford F-250 was traveling south when it was struck from behind by a Ford E-350 driven by a 45 Irvington resident, police said. The F-250 stopped on the right shoulder, while the E-350 remained in the travel lanes.
