Crash Reported On I-295 South Jersey
A crash was reported on Interstate 295 in South Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27 on I-295 northbound at Exit 28 in Bellmawr, according to the New Jersey Department of Transporation. A right lane and shoulder were closed, 511nj.org reported. There were no serious injuries, according to New Jersey State Police.

Tractor-Trailer Flips On I-295 Ramp
There's an overturned tractor-trailer on Interstate 295, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 10:20 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 16 on the I-295 southbound ramp to Exit 45 in Westampton, according to the New Jersey Department of Transporation. Crash With Injuries Reported On I-295 South Jersey
There was a crash with injuries on Interstate 295 in Gloucester County. The crash occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 on I-295 southbound north of Exit 20 in West Deptford Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation and State Police. Preliminary investigation revealed that a Chevy Traverse was involved in a single-vehicle crash, State Police said. The driver of the vehicle was transported to Cooper Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, they said. Two of three lanes were closed, 511nj.org reported.

HS Volleyball Coach, Guidance Counselor Killed Along I-295 After SUV Broke Down: State Police
A popular Camden County high school guidance counselor and volleyball coach was struck and killed along Interstate 295 after his SUV broke down, authorities said William Scully, 49, of Stratford was hit on the southbound right shoulder at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15 near milepost 39.2, New Jersey State Police said. He was taken to Jefferson Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said. A serious crash was reported on Interstate 295 in Camden County, authorities said. The crash with injuries was reported at about 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2 on I-295 southbound north of Exit 28 in Barrington, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. Police ID Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Burlington County
A 57-year-old pedestrian from Trenton was struck and killed in Burlington County, authorities said. The crash temporarily shut down Route 38 eastbound at about 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 in Mount Laurel Township, police said. Alfonsie Hollands was pronounced dead in the roadway near Interstate 295, police said. The driver remained at the crash scene and had not been charged, police said.

Driver Killed In Fiery I-295 South Jersey Crash: State Police
A driver was killed after his car caught fire on Interstate 295 in Salem County, authorities said. The crash occurred at 10:29 p.m. on Sunday, April 24 southbound near milepost 5.6 in Carneys Point Township, according to State Police. A black Honda left the roadway and struck a tree, police said. The Honda became engulfed in flames and the driver sustained fatal injuries, police said. No one else was in the car. The driver's identity had not been determined as of Monday morning.
