According to police, a woman went into Kohl's at 346 Route 25A, on Feb. 15, and allegedly returned a bracelet with a switched barcode from a lesser priced item. Man Caught Shoplifting At Kohl's In Southeast, Putnam Sheriff Says A 55-year-old man is facing charges after a Putnam County Sheriff allegedly discovered him shoplifting at a Kohl’s department store in Southeast. Deputy Shawn Iarussi was dispatched to the Kohl’s store located at 60 Independent Way in the Town of Southeast on Sunday, Feb. 3, on a report of a larceny. Deputy Iarussi worked alongside the Kohl’s Loss Prevention team to identify the suspect as Ronald Caccioippoli of Putnam Lake. Bridgeport Pair Nabbed In Attempted Jewelry Theft In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Two Bridgeport residents were arrested after they tried to steal more than $1,800 worth of jewelry from a Tunxis Hill department store, police said. Loss prevention officers at Kohl's noticed Hannah Brouard, 36, of Harlem Ave., concealing various items in the women’s jewelry area and passing some to David Rodrigues, 41, also of Harlem Ave., around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, police said. They were each charged with fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny. Brouard and Rodrigues were released on a promise to appear in court on Jan.16.
