Person Dies After Removed From Water In Asbury Park: Police
A person died after being removed from the water in Asbury Park Saturday, April 25, authorities said.
At 7:35 p.m., officers and firefighters responded to the beach area near the 800 block of Ocean Avenue for a possible drowning, Asbury Park police said.
Upon arrival, civilians were attempting life saving measures to a person removed from the water, police said. The person, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead, police said.
The cause of death is pending an autopsy, police said. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
24-Year-Old Camp Hill SCI Inmate Found Dead In Cell: PA DOC
An inmate at SCI Camp Hill was found dead over the weekend, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections announced on Monday, Aug. 4.
Omar Marlow, 24, was discovered unresponsive in his cell on Saturday, Aug. 2, Superintendent Lindsy Kendall said in the release. Prison staff began life-saving measures until medical personnel arrived, and Lower Allen EMS provided advanced support, but Marlow was pronounced dead at 9:25 p.m.

Pedestrian Struck, Killed Crossing Colonie Street
A pedestrian was struck and killed while crossing a Capital Region street.
The incident happened in Colonie, on Loudon Road north of Troy-Schenectady Road, at around 5 a.m. Monday, April 7.
Arriving officers reported finding a car that struck a pedestrian, Colonie Police said.
Bystanders attempted life-saving measures, but the victim, Felipa Martinez-Garcia, 49, of Latham, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 45-year-old Albany woman, remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, police said.

2 Pedestrians Hit, 1 Killed in CT, Driver Remains At Scene
Two pedestrians were hit, and one was killed by a vehicle at a busy Connecticut intersection.
The crash occurred in Hartford County in Bristol around 4:15 a.m., Monday, June 24, in the area of Pine Street (Route 72) and Emmett Street.
According to Lt. Patrick Krajewski of the Bristol Police, officers from the patrol division administered life-saving measures until EMS arrived on the scene to take over care.
Both pedestrians were transported to area hospitals, where one pedestrian died, Krajewski said.
