Two Paterson men have been charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, and carjacking following a violent shooting that left two people hospitalized, officials said.
Shaheem Clark, 20, and Jakahri Smith, 22, were both arrested in connection with a March 2024 shooting near 20th Avenue and East 33rd Street, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Officer-In-Charge Patrick Murray.

Police arrested six people in connection with a drive-by shooting in Lynn last year that killed two people and wounded five more, authorities said.
Abraham Diaz, 25, of Lynn, and Jandriel Heredia, 21, of Revere, were killed in a drive-by shooting on Sept. 2, 2023, in Lynn.

A 36-year-old former postal clerk has been arrested and charged with stealing hundreds of pieces of mail containing cash, checks, and gift cards and generating fake money orders worth more than $8,000 in total, authorities said.
Michael Murray, of Lynn, was arrested Friday morning, April 26, and charged with one count of theft of mail matter by an employee and one count of theft of government money, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said.
