A Long Island postal clerk is accused of stealing greeting cards containing gift cards and lottery tickets from outgoing mail.
Jovanni Jamison-Lewis, 35, of Mastic Beach, was arraigned in Suffolk County Court on Friday, Dec. 12, on charges including grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
It followed an investigation that concluded she removed sealed greeting-card envelopes from the outgoing mail bin at the Oakdale Post Office, according to the Suffolk County DA’s office.

Daniel Schultz, 40, of Levittown, was arrested after Seventh Precinct officers responded to the United States Post Office located at 1250 Wantagh Avenue on Thursday, Sept. 4 at 2:27 p.m., according to detectives.
