Police In Newark Find Toddler Wandering Alone Near Midnight
A little boy was found unattended Monday night near Avon Avenue and South 19th Street in Newark by police officers, the department said in a statement. Officers were flagged down by a woman who spotted the boy near an empty lot around 11:40 p.m. The 3-year-old was dressed only in a diaper. Missing Fairfield County 4-Year-Old Found Safe
This story has been updated. Police have called off a massive search after a missing 4-year-old was found safe. The boy, Blake Taylor, was reported missing around 1 p.m. Wednesday in New Fairfield near 34 Candlewood Road, Connecticut State Police said. Just after 2 p.m., state police said they had located the boy and he was safe but did not offer additional details. State police K9 teams, New Fairfield police, and the Dept. of Energy and Environmental Protection had flooded the area to search for the child. The boy was believed to be naked when he disappeared.
