Former Hasbrouck Heights Football Player Blake Freschi Dies, 22 Blake Freschi, a former Hasbrouck Heights football player, died Friday, April 3. He was 22 years old. The cause of death was not released. Freschi defied the odds as a multi-sport athlete (golf, football, and wrestling) after being diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. As a teenager, his story was featured in NorthJersey.com. Freschi is survived by his parents, Kelly and Fred Freschi; siblings Dylan, twin brother Hunter, and Brooke.
