43-Year-Old Struck By Vehicle In Bellport
A man was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Long Island. The crash occurred around 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, in front of 1640 Montauk Highway in Bellport. A 71-year-old Bellport man was driving a 2010 Toyota RAV4 westbound on Montauk Highway when the vehicle struck a 43-year-old man as he was crossing the road. A 38-year-old man was arrested and charged on Saturday, Oct. 26, after he was discovered to be in possession of heroin and methamphetamine in Denville, authorities said.
