Police have arrested a suspect in an overnight shooting in the region that killed a man and injured two others, including a 13-year-old boy. The Albany incident happened at around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, in the city’s West Hill neighborhood, near Second and Quail streets. Officers found a 46-year-old woman who was shot in the leg and a 13-year-old boy suffering from a graze bullet wound to his arm. A Philadelphia man will spend more than three years in prison after pulling a gun on a man in Atlantic City, authorities said. A registered sex offender in Atlantic County will spend more than a decade in prison for sexually assaulting a child, authorities said. A 39-year-old Cumberland County man has been sentenced to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison for sexually assaulting a child multiple times over a decade, authorities said. A former mixed martial artist from Philadelphia admitted to killing a man at an Atlantic City casino, authorities said. Plainfield Man Gets 40 Years For Strangling Girlfriend: Prosecutor
A 24-year-old Plainfield man was sentenced to 40 years in prison on Wednesday, May 15, for strangling his 19-year-old girlfriend to death in 2020, authorities said. On July 6, 2020, Plainfield police conducted a welfare check and found the body of 19-year-old Brenda Montoya-Cruz, Union County Prosecutor William Daniel and Plainfield Police Director James T.
