'Preppy Killer' Robert Chambers Now Living In Hudson Valley
Robert Chambers, also known as the infamous "Preppy Killer," is now living in the Hudson Valley following his recent parole from prison. Chambers, age 56, was released from the Shawangunk Correctional Facility in Ulster County on Tuesday, July 25, and is now residing in Rockland County, according to the state Department of Parole. A Monmouth County man who admitted to killing a woman in his Long Branch home has been sentenced to 30 years in New Jersey State Prison, authorities said. A Trenton-area ex-con who served time for drug and weapons convictions is headed to federal prison for 25 years.
