Baby boomers who have the acting bug biting now have a chance to get their foot in the door with a part as an extra in a new Peacock series. The upcoming series, "Poker Face," is filming in Orange and Dutchess counties, with a home base in Newburgh, the Dutchess County Film Commission said. They are currently seeking Hudson Valley locals or paid work as extras, the commission said. Casting Call: Peacock Show Filming In Hudson Valley Needs Extras To Play Restaurant Customers
Calling all wannabe actors of all ages. A new TV series streaming on Peacock -- "Poker Face" -- is looking for extras from ages 9 to adults to play restaurant customers and staff. The show, which stars Benjamin Bratt and Natasha Lyonne, is looking to cast local Orange County adults and kids between the ages of 9-13 years old, according to the Orange County Film/Tourism and the Hudson Valley Film Commission. A New Jersey boy choir got the once-in-a-lifetime chance to sing alongside Canadian pop singer Michael Bublé on national television. The Princeton Boychoir appeared with Bublé in his most recently NBC Christmas special, “Christmas in the City,” on Dec. 6, New Jersey Stage reports. The group’s members range from ages 9 to 13 and shared the stage with Bublé for his grand finale — a modern version of yuletide classic, Silent Night. The NBC streaming platform Peacock has released a trailer for a new documentary that is set to debut this week about the disappearance and death of 22-year-old Gabby Petito.
