A 13-year-old student has been charged after allegedly choking another child on a school bus in Westchester County, police said.
The incident came to light after Yorktown Police received a complaint on Saturday, March 14, about an incident on Friday, March 13, prompting an investigation by detectives, the department announced on Thursday, March 26.
According to authorities, the juvenile, whose name is being withheld due to age, was identified as the suspect following the investigation.

Crews were dispatched just after 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21, for a reported school bus fire in front of North Rockland High School in Thiells, the Thiells Fire Department said.
