A Nissan sedan was struck by a New Jersey Transit train Thursday morning, Sept. 19 in Ho-Ho-Kus. Train 1110 on the Main-Bergen County line was briefly delayed following the crash just before 10:15 a.m. at the Hollywood Avenue crossing, which left the sedan severely damaged, according to incident reporter Boyd A. Loving and an NJ Transit spokesperson. MBPJ train #1110, the 11:06 AM arrival into Hoboken, is currently delayed due to striking a motor vehicle near Hohokus. A driver was shot near a Long Island shopping center in an apparent act of road rage. The incident happened in Lawrence, at the Five Towns Shopping Center on Rockaway Turnpike, at around 8:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16. Nassau County Police said a 54-year-old man was driving a pickup truck northbound on Rockaway Turnpike when he got into a road rage confrontation with another man driving a sedan. New details have been released by police in Prince George's County as they continue their search for two suspects wanted in connection to a fatal tire shop shooting over the weekend. At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, officers were called to the 1200 block of Marblewood Avenue in Capitol Heights, where they found one person suffering from gunshot wounds.
