Montgomery County Police announced Wednesday, Sept. 3, that Jason Duane Moore, 47, of Silver Spring, has been charged in connection with the 2022 killing of Nathaniel Potts, 29.
On Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at about 3:05 a.m., officers responded to the 8500 block of 16th Street at the Summit Hills apartments in Silver Spring for a report of a shooting.

Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the deadly West York shooting that left 23-year-old O’Shea Copeland dead and another man seriously injured, authorities announced on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
The York County District Attorney’s Office said Donald Dent Jr., 24, and James Johnson, 43, both of York City, have been charged in the Aug. 15 shooting on the first block of South Highland Avenue in West York Borough.

A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was found shot in the neck in a backyard in Philadelphia, police announced on Saturday, Aug. 30.
