Escape Attempt? Carlisle County Prison Inmate Kicks Out Window, Police Say
An inmate kicked out a window at the Cumberland County Prison, Middlesex Township Police announced on Friday, Aug. 2.
Michael Phil-Lemonte Harden, 36, of Harrisburg, was in prison for "Disorderly Conduct Engage In Fighting" when he kicked the glass out of a window, on July 6, according to court documents and the police.
"Harden was in prison for other charges when he became violent kicking out the window," police wrote in the release. It is unclear if he wanted to use the glass in a fight, escape through the window, if it was an accident, or something else.

Bucks Man Fired Gun In Occupied Home, Police Say
A man is in custody for firing a weapon in a Warrington home, township police said in a release on Monday, July 29.
Safarie Xiong allegedly shot a gun in a residence on the 1200 Block of Palomino Drive on July 20, according to authorities. The round went through two occupied rooms but no one was injured, investigators said.
Xiong, 48, was charged with simple assault and reckless endangerment, police said. He is being held on a $100,000 bail and has a preliminary hearing on Aug. 5, court records show.
Man Arrested For Assault Following Large Altercation: Parsippany PD
A large altercation in Parsippany on Saturday, July 20, resulted in the arrest of a 44-year-old man, authorities said.
At 10:59 p.m., officers responded to Roosevelt Avenue for a disturbance and numerous individuals began fleeing, running through the yards of surrounding residences, Parsippany police said.
A 17-year-old teenage boy was assaulted prior to police arrival, sustaining a non-life-threatening injury to his head, authorities said. He was transported to a nearby hospital, authorities said.
