Bethlehem police arrested a wanted man following a nine-hour barricade at an 11th Avenue home on Wednesday, Oct. 25. Brian George Lichtenwalner, 31, was taken into custody on multiple bench warrants out of Monroe County, authorities said. Lichtenwalner had been sought on charges related to disarming a law enforcement officer, possessing drugs in a prison, and various DUI offenses when Bethlehem police learned he was in the city on Wednesday morning. A 41-year-old Westfield man has been indicted on 14 counts after a 14-hour standoff with police in July, prosecutors announced Around 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, police responded to a 9-1-1 call from his residence at The Boulevard for a dispute, Union County Prosecutor William Daniel said. Farsi-speaking police officers coaxed a barricaded man out of his Fairfax County home amid a standoff Thursday afternoon, Sept. 7, authorities said. The man exposed himself in front of children and then barricaded inside of a home on the 900 block of Piney Grove Drive in Merrifield, county police said.
