A man police have been searching for in connection with robberies at both Subway and the People's Bank has been arrested. On Thursday, detectives arrested Alvin Robertson, 55, last known address of Bridgeport, in connection with the bank robbery at the People’s United Bank in Stop & Shop on Sept. 21, said the Watertown Police Department. Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a suspect involved in an alleged armed robbery at a Subway restaurant on Route 7 in Fairfield County. A second teenager has been arrested in connection to the fatal stabbing of a New Rochelle High School junior last month.
