A Lehigh Valley man who allegedly wielded a handgun and threatened a local Subway worker over a food order was arrested and slapped with numerous charges, authorities said.
Wayne T. Powell Jr., 23, of Bethlehem, was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, firearms not to be carried without a license, harassment, and disorderly conduct following the incident at the Subway on Broad Street, Bethlehem Police said in a release on Friday, July 8.

Two people have been arrested after allegedly threatening two women on a Nice bus on Long Island following a verbal altercation.
The incident took place in Valley Stream on Wednesday, June 22.
According to Nassau County detectives, Kiara Cooper, age 22, of Queens, and Quanmik Wells, age 32, Brooklyn, became involved in a verbal altercation on a Nice bus at the intersection of West Merrick Road and Arlington Avenue.

A 37-year-old man was so upset over losing a parking spot he threatened to re-enact the Nicolas Cage classic "Face/Off," police said.
Joshua Sadr, of Manassas, got into an argument with another driver on Monday, June 20, which led to the threats, the Prince William County police said. The other driver, a 33-year-old man, said he snatched up the spot in the 9500 block of Loma Drive just after 10 p.m.
