Boston Man Accused Of Raping Woman For 3 Days Unexpectedly Testifies At Trial
Victor Pena unexpectedly took the stand in his defense Monday, July 25, during his rape and kidnapping trial in Boston. The 42-year-old is accused of kidnapping a woman in 2019 and raping her for three days before police found her in his Charlestown apartment. Police, prosecutors, and the victim have all said that Pena found her on the street in January 2019 and lured her back to his house. But he said they had a relationship, and their encounter was consensual. College Athlete From Hudson Valley Died After Choking During Charity Contest, Report Says
A college student from the Hudson Valley who died over the weekend in Massachusetts choked during an eating contest for charity, according to a report. Rockland County resident Madie Nicpon, age 20, a 2019 graduate of Suffern High School, was a junior at Tufts University in Massachusetts. Loud Boom Heard In New England May Have Been Meteor, Scientists Say
A loud boom heard in parts of New England over the weekend may have been caused by a meteor entering the atmosphere, according to a new report. New Hampshire TV station WMUR reported that some residents across parts of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine reported hearing the sound around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 10. Warning: Pit Bulls Attack Dog Out For A Walk In Clinton
A Lancaster woman is warning the community about two, unleashed pit bulls who allegedly attacked her dog while walking in Clinton. The Clinton Animal Inspector is investigating the dog-on-dog mauling. Ashley Williams said that while she was walking her golden retriever, Logan, on Clinton’s Main Street, July 29, two pit bulls ran across the road and jumped onto her dog.
