Man Wanted For Stealing $1,650 Worth Of Items From Long Island Home Depot Police on Long Island are looking for a man who stole more than $1,600 worth of electrical wiring from a home improvement store. The suspect nabbed the merchandise from the Home Depot on Sunrise Highway in Copiague at around 7 p.m. Saturday, April 2, Suffolk County police said. Drunk Driver Busted With Fraudulent Registration In Hudson Valley, Police Say A Hudson Valley man is facing charges after he was busted driving drunk with fraudulent registration, according to police. State troopers in Orange County first spotted the man at around 7 p.m. Sunday, May 29, as he drove eastbound on Washington Avenue in Newburgh, New York State Police said. Albany Felon Admits To Escaping Halfway House A federal convict from the Capital District is facing more time behind bars after admitting to escaping from a halfway house. Albany resident Glyn Frink, age 51, pleaded guilty Wednesday, June 1, to escaping from the Horizon House Residential Reentry Center in Albany. The 42-bed facility helps men and women transition from federal incarceration back into New York and Vermont communities. Hudson Valley Man Kicked Pregnant Woman In Stomach, Poured Grease On Her, Police Say A man from the region is accused of physically assaulting a pregnant woman during a domestic dispute. Ulster County resident Enrique Plaza, age 29, of Saugerties was arrested on multiple charges stemming from the altercation at a home on Livingston Street, Saugerties Police said. Concrete Truck Destroys Bridge In Hudson Valley A wooden bridge in the Hudson Valley is no more after it was shattered by a concrete truck. The crash happened in Ulster County Thursday, June 2, in Marbletown, according to the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators said a concrete truck was driving east on County Route 6 at around noon when it struck a bridge near the Gate House at Mohonk Mountain. 17-Year-Old Charged In Connection To Burglary, Sexual Assault On Long Island Police have caught a second teen suspect accused of sexually assaulting a Long Island woman during a home burglary.
