Suspect At Large After Armed Robbery At CVS In Western Mass Police are searching for a man who robbed a CVS in the region for drugs. In Western Massachusetts, Longmeadow Police said the suspect targeted the store on Longmeadow Street at around 6:45 p.m. Thursday, May 5. He reportedly entered the store and passed a note to the pharmacist that implied he had a weapon and demanded prescription pills. He then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of medication, police said. Nobody was injured in the robbery. Postal Worker Admits To Stealing Mail In Albany A former postal worker in the Capital District has admitted to stealing money from packages while on the job. Federal prosecutors said Otilio Millan III, age 33, of Broadalbin, in Fulton County, confessed to swiping gift cards and cash from numerous packages while employed as a mail clerk. The thefts occurred between December 2020 and November 2021 at post offices around Albany, the US Attorney’s Office said. Among the locations were the Terminal Street Station and the Stuyvesant Plaza Station. Millan pleaded guilty Wednesday, May 4, to mail theft. He now faces up to five years in prison.…

Man Killed In DWI Crash In Baldwin Identified Police have identified a man who was killed in a suspected DWI crash on Long Island. Scott Freeman, age 66, of North Baldwin, died as a result of the crash that occurred early Tuesday, May 3, in Baldwin at the intersection of Grand Avenue and East Carl Avenue, Nassau County Police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County Police Medic. The other driver, 31-year-old Jinaraya Khan, of Baldwin, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Columbia County resident Misael Chun Pastor, age 36, of Kinderhook, was arrested Thursday, May 5, on numerous charges, New York State Police said. Among them are predatory sexual assault against a child in the first degree, a felony. Following a tip, investigators determined that Chun Pastor had sexually assaulted a child under the age of 13 on multiple occasions, police said.
