Stafford High School Grad Devon Davati Dies Unexpectedly, 29 Devon Davati, a Virginia native, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 18, his obituary says. He was 29 years old. A King George native, Devon graduated from Stafford High School in 2012 before going on to earn his bachelors of science from the Southern New Hampshire University, his obituary says. Devon worked for CGI Federal in Falls Church, in the legal area for the Department of Justice supporting the Bureau of Immigration Appeals, according to his obit. I-95 Bridge Crash Causing 5 Miles Of Backups In Fairfax County A crash on I-95 caused five miles of backups Tuesday morning, April 23. The crash happened at mile marker 177.9 on the southbound side along the Woodrow Wilson Bridge in Fairfax County just outside of Alexandria, according to the VDOT site. As of 9:15 a.m., the south left shoulder, left lane, and center lane are closed.

The man was found by officers responding to reports of an injured person in an apartment on the 900 block of North Henry Street around 3:25 a.m. Monday, April 22, the Alexandria Police Department said. The man was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. No further information was released.

Woman Forced Into Woods By Stranger Who Sexually Assaulted Her In Prince William County: Cops Police are searching for the man who a 35-year-old woman said grabbed her and sexually assaulted her in Manassas over the weekend. The victim was walking near Fairmount Avenue and Anvil Drive between 11:30 p.m. Friday, April 19 and 12:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20, when she was grabbed by a complete stranger, Prince William County police said. The man forced the victim into a nearby wooded area where she was sexually assaulted. The two eventually separated, and the victim called the police.
