Two men are facing charges after a multi-agency investigation into the distribution of fentanyl and cocaine across the Hudson Valley, Capital Region, and New York City, Dutchess County prosecutors said.

A fired delivery driver is accused of slashing tires on nearly 30 Amazon delivery vehicles, stealing key fobs, and trying to hide evidence in a river, authorities said.
Anthony Gillio of Cape Coral, Florida, was arrested on Friday, May 1, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said. The 22-year-old was charged with grand theft of between $5,000 and $10,000, two counts of criminal mischief, and tampering with evidence.

An off-duty firefighter sprang into action to rescue a kayaker struggling in the Hudson River off the Dutchess County coast, officials said.
The incident happened around 5:25 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, near the shoreline of Long Dock Park in the City of Beacon, according to the Beacon Fire Department.
Emergency crews, including Beacon firefighters, police, EMS, and the New Hamburg Fire Department, were dispatched after reports of an overturned kayaker in distress.

A New York City woman has been charged following an investigation into alleged prostitution activity at a Dutchess County spa, police said.
Bongseon Choi, 59, was arrested on Thursday, April 30, and charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, a felony, and prostitution, a misdemeanor, New York State Police announced on Tuesday, May 5.
Authorities said the investigation leading to Choi's arrest began on March 4, after complaints about suspected prostitution activity at New Kang Spa, located at 1151 Route 55 in the town of LaGrange.
