In Orange County, the Port Jervis City Police Department is attempting to locate Brittany Hendershot, age 21, who was reported as a missing person by her mother on Tuesday, July 5.  Hendershot was last seen by her mother on or around Thursday, June 23, and spoke with her over the telephone on Friday, June 24, police said. Alert Issued For Missing Hicksville Girl Police on Long Island are asking the public for help locating a missing teen who has been missing for more than a day. Sana Ali, age 15, of Hicksville, was reported missing by her parents on Thursday, July 28. Ali was last seen leaving her Hicksville residence in a blue-colored, two-door, Toyota Scion with a Virginia license plate, “2038XC," said the Nassau County Police. Woman Nabbed Stealing $38K From Westport Resident, Police Say A Connecticut woman has been arrested for allegedly writing more than $38,000 in fraudulent checks from the account of a Fairfield County resident. An investigation into the incident began in Westport in June 2021 after a resident reported that an unknown person has used his personal information to write more than $38,000 in checks.
