23-Year-Old Hudson Valley Woman Remembered For Her 'Overwhelmingly Desire To Help Others' As family and friends say a final goodbye to a 23-year-old woman from the region who died after being struck in the head by a passing train, she is being remembered for her desire to help others. Putnam County resident, Hope Mantovi, of Mahopac, was struck around 8:30 p.m., Saturday, March 19, in Woodlawn in the Bronx, said Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials. Mantovi died on Friday, April 8, at St. Barnabas Hospital from injuries incurred during the accident. Ex-Lover, Handyman Wanted In Orsolya Gaal Murder Mystery, Report Says The former handyman and lover to Orsolya Gaal is being sought by authorities in her mysterious weekend slaying, the New York Post reports. The unidentified man and the 51-year-old Forest Hills mom reportedly had an affair, and he knew where the family kept their spare key, the outlet said citing sources. Man At Trumbull Mall Videotaped Under Young Girl's Clothes, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been arrested for allegedly videotaping under the clothes of a young child at a food court at an area mall. Kenneth Soto, age 55, of Bridgeport was arrested by Trumbull Police on Friday, April 15 at the Westfield Trumbull Mall. One Killed In Norwalk Apartment Fire, Officials Say One person was killed during an apartment fire in Fairfield County overnight. The fire took place in Norwalk around 8:15 p.m., Monday, April 18, at 14 Prowitt St. The body of a deceased person was found when Norwalk firefighters responded to the complex for a report of an apartment fire, said Deputy Chief Michael P. Orange County resident A.J. Christie, also known as Arthur Joseph Christie III, of Pine Bush, died on Thursday, April 14, after his motorcycle collided with an SUV in the town of Crawford. Alert Issued For Missing 11-Year-Old CT Girl Police have issued a missing person's alert for a missing 11-year-old Connecticut girl. Jamayra Halstead, of Hartford, was last seen around 4 p.m., on Monday, April 18, in the area of Hillyer Street, said Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police. IDs Released For Two Killed In Boating Accident Off Stamford Coast State officials have released the identities of two men killed in a boating accident off the coast of Fairfield County. The men have been identified as Cristofer Cifuentes, age 26, and Ludyn Cifuentes, age 41, both of New York City, said Will Healy, spokesman for the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
