Man Found Hiding In Woods After Crash In Western Mass, Police Say The Massachusetts State Police air wing helped locate a man who ran from a motor vehicle crash into a heavily wooded area. The incident took place in Berkshire County shortly after 5 p.m., Friday, April 8 in Clarksburg. Following the crash of a pickup truck, troopers responded to East Road to search for the driver who fled into the woods after being involved in a crash with another vehicle, said the Massachusetts State Police. Girl Critical After Attack By 25-Year-Old In Area, Police Say A 17-year-old Hudson Valley girl is in critical condition and a man is behind bars following an attack. The incident took place in the city of Poughkeepsie on Sunday, April 10. Police received a report of a female down on the floor at a residence within the city, said Sgt. Long Island Man Accused Of Choking Person Who Becomes Unconscious Outside Movie Theater A Long Island man was arrested for allegedly putting another person in a chokehold during a fight outside a movie theater causing them to lose consciousness. Duo Nabbed For Attempted Armed Robbery At TD Bank In Western Mass Two Western Mass men have been arrested for allegedly robbing a TD bank in the region. The robbery took place in Springfield around 9:15 a.m., Saturday, April 9 at the bank located on the 500 block of Sumner Avenue. Hudson Valley Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash A Hudson Valley man was killed during a single-vehicle crash, The crash took place in Rockland County around 9 a.m., Saturday, April 9, on Route 45 in Ramapo on North Main Street and Bristol Lane. On arrival, officers learned that the sole occupant of the vehicle, a 57-year-old man from Hillcrest, had been ejected from a Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Ramapo Police said. CT Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash, Police Say A 21-year-old Connecticut man and University of New Haven student was killed in a crash after the vehicle he was riding in struck a tree, police said. The shooting took place in Bridgeport around 4 a.m., Saturday, April 9 at the Bridgeport Innovative Center located at 955 Connecticut Ave. Upon arrival on the scene, patrol officers located a 33-year-old victim identified as Michael Yon, of Bridgeport, said Capt. Bank Robbery Suspect On Run After Making Off With Cash, Police Say A man who allegedly robbed an M&T bank in the region is on the run after making off with cash. The robbery took place in Sullivan County around 1:20 p.m., Friday, April 8 at the bank located in Monticello at 4446 Route 42, said the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office.
