She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Suspect At Large After Fatal Shooting Of Man From Fairfield County Police in Connecticut are searching for a man who allegedly shot and killed a victim during a drug deal, police said. The incident took place in New Haven County in Ansonia around 12:50 p.m., Tuesday, April 5. Ansonia police received a 911 call from a man reporting he was on Main Street near Kingston Drive and his friend was shot. 27-Year-Old Nabbed In Connection To Pittsfield Shooting A Western Mass man has been arrested for a shooting that injured two, including one critically. The shooting took place in Berkshire County in Pittsfield around 4:20 p.m., Monday, April 4. Pittsfield Police responded to the area near the intersection of King Street and Von Nida Avenue after receiving a Shotspotter notification. Gunfire Hits CT State Senator's New Haven Home Bullets struck the Connecticut home of State Sen. Gary Winfield, during a shooting in which a man was wounded. The shooting took place in New Haven around 7 p.m., Monday, April 4. No one in the home was injured, but a 33-year-old man outside the home was struck, said Officer Scott Shumway, of the New Haven Police. 21-Year-Old From Hudson Valley Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Child A Hudson Valley man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a child under 11. Orange County resident Cormega Berkley, age 21, was arrested on Monday, April 4, in Newburgh by New York State Police. Berkley, of the city of Newburgh, was arrested after allegations arose about his allegedly having sexually assaulted the child, said Trooper Steven Nevel. A joint investigation by the Orange County Child Abuse Unit led to Berkley's arrest, Nevel said. He was charged with predatory sexual assault against a child and remanded to the Orange County Jail.

Video Released Of Brookfield Woman Crashing Into Eight Police Vehicles A video has been released of an incident in which seven officers were injured when a wanted Fairfield County woman drove into their police vehicles during a multi-town chase before crashing. Family Of Woman Who Went Missing In Lee Offers $50K Reward For Her Return The family of a missing upstate New York woman are offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to her return after her vehicle was found in Western Massachusetts. Albany County resident Meghan A. Marohn, age 42, of Delmar, hasn't been seen since Sunday, March 27. One Dead, Three Injured After Drive-By CT Shooting A man was killed and three others wounded during a drive-by shooting in Connecticut. The shooting took place around 7:10 p.m., Monday, April 4 in Hartford in the area of Mather Street at Bedford Street. Man Wanted For Robbing Woman While Putting Child Inside Car On Long Island Police are asking the public for assistance identifying a man who allegedly robbed a woman while she was putting her child inside a car on Long Island. The incident took place around 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 15, in the parking lot of Michael's in Commack. (See video above.) Alert Issued For Missing Putnam County Woman Police in the area are asking the public for help locating a woman who has not been seen in several days. Putnam County resident Lori Lynn Campbell, age 59, address unknown, was reported missing on Wednesday, April 2. The Putnam County Sheriff's Office received reports from two of Campbell's friends after she failed to make contact with them for several days, the department said.
