Man Sentenced For Nassau County Jewelry Store Heist A robber has been sentenced for his role in the robbery of a Nassau County jewelry store in which he and others stole more than $80,000 in jewelry. Justice Brunson, age 43, of Brooklyn, was sentenced to 23 years to life in prison on Wednesday, Feb. 9, for the 2017 robbery of a Flora Park jewelry store, said Nassau County District Attorney Anne T. One Killed In Crash Between Car, Tow Truck In Northern Westchester One person was killed and another injured during a crash between a tow truck and a car in Northern Westchester. It happened around 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 on Saw Mill River Road (Route 100) near the Taconic State Parkway in Millwood. According to the New Castle Police, when officers arrived on the scene they found one person dead and another with minor injuries. The identity of the victim has not yet been released. Fairfield County Man Killed In Single-Car Crash After Hitting Tree, Police Say A Fairfield County man was killed during a single-car crash. It happened around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 9 on Daniels Farm Road in Trumbull. According to Lieutenant Brian Weir, of the Trumbull Police Department, arriving officers began rendering medical aid to the victim, Scott Polke, age 59, of Trumbull. CT Woman Accused Of Stealing $50K From Employer, Police Say A Connecticut woman has been arrested for stealing more than $50,000 from her employer. Michelle Anseeuw, age 47, of New Haven, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 6 for the theft which allegedly took place between Sept. 2020 and Sept. 2021.
