Felon From Fairfield County Admits To Having Gun, Feds Say
A Fairfield County man has pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Allen Lusmat, 30, of Bridgeport, pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Nov. 18, to possessing the gun in New Haven when he entered a convenience store, said John H. Durham, U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.

Brick Man, 34, Faces 7 Years State Prison On Weapons, Drug Dealing Charges
A 34-year-old man from Brick Township admitted to dealing drugs and carrying a handgun, authorities said.
Jahmal Jones pleaded guilty on Tuesday before Superior Court Judge Rochelle Gizinski, Ocean County First Assistant Prosecutor Michael T. Nolan, Jr. said.
Detectives from Barnegat and Lakewood townships police departments assisted in the investigation, searches and arrests, Nolan said.
Jones faces up to seven years in state prison on the charges with parole eligibility after five years, Nolan said. His sentencing date had not been set, he said.
