Missing Person Alert For 17-Year-Old Girl In Metro Area Canceled
Update: The Missing Child Alert for the 17-year-old girl issued on Friday, June 14 has been canceled. Amelia Power Del Valle is safe after being locates at the Subway at 72nd Street and Broadway in Manhattan, the New York State Public Safety Department said. The department noted that a citizen saw the alert and recognized Amelia while she was in the subway and called 911, waiting until police arrived. Police contacted Amelia’s mom, who brought her home. A Fairfield County man has admitted to robbing multiple banks and Subway restaurants in Connecticut last year. Bridgeport resident Alvin Robertson, 56, pleaded guilty in Bridgeport district court to one count of bank robbery and admitted that he committed a total of three bank robberies and two Subways throughout the state last year. A Fairfield County man with a lengthy rap sheet has been charged in connection to robberies at Subway and several bank branches in Connecticut.
