A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Newburgh's Ritz Theater Gets $1M In Funding NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- The theater that launched "I Love Lucy" is on track for its reopening. The Ritz Theater, where Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz first performed skits as a duo has received $1 million in state grants as it continues its restoration. Safe Harbors on the Hudson hopes to have the theater open before 2020. The theater received a $500,000 grant in 2016 to help replace the roof and in 2017 received a $500,000 grant to help restore the theater to its original state. Hudson Valley Resident's New Album Pays Tribute To Famed Folk Musician Andy Biskin is hoping people love the music of Alan Lomax as much as he does.Biskin and his band, 16 Tons, have launched a Kickstarter to help fund the recording of his band's new record, which features a collection of American folk songs previously collected by Lomax.  The campaign, which runs through Feb. 1, is hoping to raise $8,000 to help cover fees for musicians recording, editing, mixing, mastering and producing the CDs.
