The West Babylon resident, who prosecutors are not naming to protect the victims’ identities, pleaded guilty to multiple sex crimes in Suffolk County Court on Wednesday, Sept. 6. According to prosecutors, the man began sexually abusing his daughter, now age 10, during visitation periods when she was still wearing diapers. Rensselaer County resident Joshua Perry, of Troy, was arrested Thursday, Aug. 31, following a month-long investigation, according to the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office. Blame Game: Suspect In Fatal Area Stabbing Had Been Released Despite Wanted Status For Assault A 20-year-old undocumented immigrant was arrested in connection with a deadly stabbing in the region that occurred after he was released from custody despite being wanted for another broad-daylight stabbing. Emergency crews in Rensselaer County were called at around 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, for a stabbing in Troy near River and Duow streets, mere yards from KIPP Troy Prep Elementary School. Robbery Spree: Man Targets Businesses In Capital Region For Quick Cash, Police Say A man is behind bars in connection with a string of robberies targeting businesses in the region. Police in Saratoga County were initially called Sunday evening, Sept. 3, for a robbery in Saratoga Springs at the Ben & Jerry’s on Phila Street, according to police. Investigators said 40-year-old Daniel McKay, of Amsterdam in Montgomery County, walked in and told an employee he was robbing the store. He implied that he had a gun but did not show any weapon. Seen Him? Alert Issued For Missing 17-Year-Old From Western Mass Police are asking for help in locating a teenager from Western Massachusetts who has been missing for several days. Hampden County resident Ayden Williams, age 17, was last seen walking away from his Wilbraham home on Friday, Sept. 1, according to police. Williams is described as being 5-foot-8-inches tall and 150 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a camouflage shirt, zip-up hoodie sweatshirt, and dark-colored pants.
