4-Year-Old Hit By Car Outside McDonald's In Capital Region A young child is doing okay after being struck by a car in the region. The incident happened at around 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, in Albany, near the intersection of Sherman and Ontario streets. According to Albany Police, a 4-year-old boy ran into the roadway while his mother was unloading items from her car and was hit by a vehicle. The boy was not injured and was taken to Albany Medical Center out of precaution. The incident happened just outside of a McDonald's.

28-Year-Old Dies In 2-Vehicle Crash On Capital Region Roadway A driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash on a busy roadway in the region. The Rensselaer County incident happened at around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, in Brunswick on Hoosick Road, according to State Police. Troopers said Christopher Lockrow, age 28, of Valley Falls, was driving a motorcycle eastbound on Hoosick Road when another car pulled out in front of him from McChesney Avenue. Lockrow struck the vehicle and suffered severe injuries. He was taken by ambulance to Samaritan Hospital in Troy where he was pronounced dead, police said. Laquan Fallen, age 24, of Albany, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in Albany County Court on Tuesday, Aug. 8, for fatally shooting 24-year-old Czsar Lewis.
